A tad overwhelmed

Sun Nov 25, 2007, 3:14 PM
I freely admit that I have not been active for the past 6 months, but I definately did not expect to come back to... 1500 deviations. I suppose this is what I get for adding every talented artist I come across on my watch list. This wouldn't be so horrific if there wasn't something inside of me saying, "No! You cannot just delete these! You must see them first!" Yes, 1500 deviations on a dial-up. Brilliant.

I think I'll put that off until further notice...

In other news, I'm rediscovering the joys of parkour and freerunning, which is funny because I have zero time to do/start either. There's just something entertaining about watching it. But, if I had the time, I would try. Right along with glowsticking/stringing, longboarding/skateboarding, snowboarding, and learning to fly a helicopter. Oh, and every martial art out there, because everything looks fun. I just don't have the time or money.

Ooh, you are alive. Good to hear :ahoy: Parkour, really? You're amazing. I tried to climb the side of a building once because it was in the way of the bus stop on the other side of the block. That was an epic fail. I have trouble doing saut de bras because my hands get all sweaty and I slip. I need gloves. Anyway, yeah, I have problems enough if I don't check my Deviant Watch Box everyday, because then I'm stuck with 100 deviations to look at. lmao Dial-up though? Ow.

Props for trying. :-D I need more conditioning before I consider it seriously. I have no upper body strength of which to speak of (seriously, although part of it is that my body type is "scrawny"). I also need to find a partner who would do it with me and take me to the hospital when I screw up...

I love the fact you said "when" instead of "if". Although it is a wee disconcerting. But yeah, partners sound good. When I climbed that building? I was by myself. Needless to say, it is a bad idea to be alone when you're playing Spiderman. Happy climbing.

:iconmalumsempur:
Sweet, sweet, good to hear. :-D What'cha majoring in?
:iconmalumsempur:
I tend to be reckless; its inevitable. :-) If I may ask, what happened?
:iconi--kuzuremasu:
I put my foot into a crack in the side of the wall first and then I reached up for the first window and I got to the top of that and I was about... ten feet up, so then I climbed past the window and I was gonna reach for this pole that was conveniently sticking out from the side of the building and I jumped for it because it was too far and needless to say, the rest is history. My back still hurts.
