Taken in Pueblo.
My great aunt died yesterday morning. My grandparents are saddened, particularly my grandpa. He wants to go and support his brother (and my great uncle), but money quickly becomes a problem, and it looks as if the soonest he can fly out will be in a couple weeks. In time for a funeral, perhaps? It is unfortunate that good intentions are often checked by money, no? I suppose, though, that we should be glad the light is on the other side of the clouds. Edit: I should qualify. I cannot claim to have any real attachment to her, having never met nor spoken with her, but it is acutely depressing to be unable to comfort someone in mourning. |
